d:ternity - Archivierung von Firmendaten

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certificate

Following an audit by TÜV SÜD, FUJIFILM Recording Media GmbH has been awarded an ISO certificate in the area: "Management of long-term data archiving in FUJIFILM's dternity service section".

FUJIFILM Recording Media GmbH is a subsidiary of the FUJIFILM Holding Corporation and operates a high-security data centre for professional corporate data archiving (backups and archive organisation) in Kleve (Germany).

The company has united the fundamental factors - low costs, security aspects and outstanding reliability - in a comprehensive data concept for archiving important corporate data and named it dternity. As d:ternity demonstrates, you can substantially reduce archive cost while enjoying the benefits of low administration costs and full adherence with compliance requirements. "We are proud to receive this important certification. It proves that the safety standards implemented at every stage of our processes are consistent throughout", explains Hans-Jörg Müsch, responsible for Sales & Marketing at FUJIFILM Recording Media GmbH. "Complying with these standards has always been our top priority - this is, after all, our core business! Although customers who already entrust us with their sensitive corporate data have known this for many years, it is still great to now actually hold the certificate in our hands and to receive official confirmation from TÜV SÜD."

ISO 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems. The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate covers the whole information security spectrum: This ranges from technology to control access and entry to the system, to organisational aspects, system reliability and contingency planning. The standard requires the installation of a risk management system in all security-relevant areas and across all hierarchies.

"Of course, being awarded ISO 27001 does not mean that you can just sit back and relax. It is an ongoing process for all concerned", notes Björn Reissig, responsible for IT at FUJIFILM Recording Media GmbH. "And as we are continually working on our security processes, we are confident about the annual monitoring audits."

The resulting dternity service is a homogeneous and innovative archiving method which safeguards security throughout all process stages.
